I was just wandering i have enabled the sharing of a folder and have put files in it, yet when i search for it they don't come up? Do they not if you host the file, or is something just wrong?

You are correct in your thinking. When you do a search your shared files will not appear in your search results.

This is normal. Why would you want your own files in the search results? You already know what you have and are sharing.
