searching problems Hi, I've noticed that ever since I updated to the new version of limewire everytime I search for a movie I get like 50 files pop up that are the same file instead of listing under one file name with a number beside it. When I click on one of the files it tries to connect but it always comes up Need More Sources, so basically I can't download anything. Any ideas |
Choose those with 3 or 4 stars. It helps results if you're uplding. Make sure you're not totally firewaled against LW; http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml Some hints: After opening LW wait 10 to 20 mins before using. Let it settle down 1st. A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities. eg: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...028#post116028 |
