Gnutella and LimeWire make me feel very dumb. I know there's something obvious that I am missing. I've downloaded LimeWire--I think. I clicked on the download icon off of the net, double clicked on the icon as it appeared on my desktop. It then sent me an email welcoming me to LimeWire.

So now I go to LimeWire and can't figure out how to get to the music. When I enter music searches into the search box. All that comes up are articles about how great LimeWire and Gnutella's music sharing programs are.

I need very specific instruction on how to:
1. Get to the site that has the music to share.
2. Find specific songs that I have an interest in.
3. Open/listen/download these songs.
4. Share my music

Help! I'm an internet dummy! Hold my hand!

I would be happy to help you out with LimeWire. But if you honestly do not feel confident using LimeWire, might I suggest another way to download music? It's called Xolox, and is much easier to use. :-) It's very friendly and doesn't make your worry about technical things. You just tell it get something, and it will get it for you. Nothing else required.

If you would like to go ahead and give LimeWire a shot, just let me know! :-)

There are several other clients for Mac. Go to http://www.gnutelliums.com/macintosh/ and check out all the clients available for Mac. :-)
