Does LimeWire use TCP, or UDP?

That is part of my 2Wire firewall setup... I specified TCP...

Thanks for explaining that.

Here's the user guide for my firewall.... next I will attach some screen shots from my config... hopefully it will reveal what is wrong and what needs to be done to get LimeWire DIRECT CONNECT, and host-chat working...

So... anybody have any more hints or clues???

What to try next?

What UDP parameters (if any) does LimeWire need???

When I try to add UDP into my firewall settings for LimeWire, the 2Wire config asks for a PORT#. Does UDP and TCP both use the same port number? = 6346 ?
