HDD=Hard Disk Drive
RAM=Random Access Memory
Firewalls= XP service pack 2, Norton, Mcaffe, etc.

What brand wireless router do you use. It should also have a model no. on it

Do these 2 tests:

1. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image

2. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www.grc.com/port_6346.htm (Press Probe this port button) Does it say open or closed?

so HDD s like memory? cause i have...63.4 GB free space and if you mean the type, it's a standarf disk sriver
i have windows xp service pack 2, norton, spybot
i think my router is a BcreezeAccess, ut there is no model#

here is some extra stuff i fond on the front of my computer, maybe it will help?
amd athlon prossesor
512MB 16x max read
100 GB hard drive, 7200 RPM

and for Lord of the Rings, the first thing didn't help and the second one told me port 6346 is in "stealth" status

There are only two valid responses a port can give when it is scanned: "open" and "closed". A port is considered "stealth" when it doesn't respond to a request at all. All the GRC port scanner does is fire packets out at your ports. If your port answers back, it will be listed as either "open" or "closed". if your firewall prevents your computer from answering back to GRC's port scanner, the port will be listed as "stealth". It as simple as that.

I believe I read that Norton does not recommend using their firewall with others b/c they can interfere with each other. So probably best to disable your XP firewall. Your choice of which one. To configure your firewall(s) to allow LW full access see:
1. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml OR 2. Configuring Norton Internet Security

The bug test I asked you to is suppost to give you a True/False response. I wanted you to tell us which one it is True/False?

You can set your windows firewall from the instructions here. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

But Norton suggests you don't run 2 firewalls. They interfer with each other.
