Files in Library - Shared folder
 

I am sort of new to LimeWire and I have been downloading music without any problem until a few days ago.

I am running LW 4.2.6 and my OS is Windows XP. Whenever I successfully downloaded a file it would appear in the Shared folder in my Library tab. Well about 2 weeks ago a second shared folder appeared in the library. And now any new file that I download is sent to the second shared folder. Which is a problem because I am not able to find it when I go to burn a CD. Only the first shared folder is visiable. I am sharing 993 files currently [possibly more].

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so is there a solution?

You should upgrade you version of LimeWire. That version had some problems. You can download the free version from this link. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Where did you get your version as LimeWire basic is free, and version 4.2.6 was realeased about 5 months ago or so.

Thanks for the link! My previous version was downloaded from the website. A message popped up when I opened Limewire that indicated a newer version was available. I've downloaded the newest version that was free but I am still having the same problem. Any other suggestions?
