Wheres my download
 

Hi i was currently downloading a large file from limewire pro 481, iwas upto about 50% of the download then earlier on i went to restart limewire and i got an error message saying couldn't find your downloads now my download has disappeared is ther anyway of getting it back, i know its not the saving issue as i have already got that setup ok.

This has also happened to me twice now, I emailed tech support a few days ago and still havnt gotten a reply.
I had over 200 downloads waiting to download and now there all gone:mad:

There was a bug in LW 4.2.x about this. There were also security issues from LW 4.2 to 4.8.0 so I'd suggest you update to LW 4.8.1

If you have your downlds set to default settings, then go to Tools>Options>Saving & press the Default button & press Apply. This should fix it. If not then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

hmmm not sure what caused it, but check in LW tools>options>savining --- days to keep incomplete files --- change this to like 100

by default it is set to 7.

I keep mine set to over 600 lol. :D And yes this could be the reason!!!
