Default Windows Media Player

All the songs I copy from CD's I store in the Windows Media Player library and I want all songs I download from Limewire to go into that library too but so far I'm completely stumped as to how to achieve that. Songs I've downloaded to date simply go into the Limewire library.
Can anyone help me with a step by step procedure to get downloaded songs into Windows Media Player library?
Thanks,
Superscot

You have to get Media Player to search for new files you have on your computer.

In Windows Media Player 10 (I'm sure it was the same in WMP9) go to Tools - > Search For Media Files and allow it to search your computer. It will then pick them up.

With Windows Media Player in Full Mode. That's the regular mode without any additioinal skins. Look to the bottom of the screen. You will see "add to Library". When the box opens click browse and look for the following. Providing that you have not partitioned your hard drive look for C:/Docments&Settings/Yourname/Shared/. Your music files are automatically stored in this folder by Lime Wire. Once you find the folder just click and Media Player should then find the music and add them to your library.

if Windows Media Player is configured its files to go into the "My Music" folder then you can direct your music from limewire to download direct. Go to options and in the sharing area put this:

C:/Documents and Settings/Your Account Name/My Documents/My Music

If you enter that limewire will save all your downloaded files there and when windows media player opens, your song will be in the "All Music" (or whatever) folder.

(Anything you download thats not music or videos, they will not be read in Windows Media Player so that folder would be your saved files folder.)
