Verifying file contents... problem
 

I'm attempting to download a 706 mb file. I've successfully downloaded the file, but the progress in the "Verifying file contents" after the download stops at 98 or 99% and limewire restarts downloading the file at 99% everytime. Is there someway the file can be once and for all completed without messing up in the "Verifying file contents" part?

Salut, it only means that LW detects corrupted chunks and tries to rectify the problem by dling the bad chuncks. It should try 6 times then stop it. Let it go through, you can't stop it, if it is a movie you can always see the movie without the download being 100% completed.

Ah, merci mon Quebecois. But I've tried over 20 times and it just doesn't stop! I'll let it keep doing it's job then...

Is that a movie or an iso? If the iso, you won't be able to do anything if it is corrupted. If a movie, as I said go into your incomplete folder and lauch it with VLC.

The file I'm trying to get is a .bin file. I've read many other complaints about how people keep get corruptions on this file, so I'm not the only one that's getting problems with it. I'm guessing I'll have to find another file for disk 3 for this game.

HELP - similar problem
 

I have a similar problem..... in that when it varifiy's its stalls @ 99%.... however it freezes LW up completely and i cant do anything....... and if i try to play the file (its an MPG) it doesnt play

i also have similar prob. although it doesnt show the file in limewhire and when i go into my incomplete files folder its there with the incomplete numbers before the file title. anyway anyone knows of resolving this problem...? i may just download it again but being a 700mb file i'd prefere any suggestions if possible. thanks to everyone.
