I downloaded a bunch of music before I went to bed last night. When I woke, I checked the status of the downloads and noticed that limewire was bogged down. So I closed it out and restarted my computer. Once my computer rebooted, I accessed limewire and noticed that all the music I downloaded is gone as well as the files I had in my library.

I noticed in another post that this happened to a fellow limewire user as well. Any suggestions on what happened would be greatly appreciated so that I could avoid further occurances from happening again.

The Same thing happened to me. Just a few hours ago I downloaded some songs. The limewire program icon kept popping up 2X and was not responding. I finally got the program closed and shut down the computer. less than 3 hours later all my saved files were completly gone and it REALLY REALLY SUCKS!!!!!! I hope that maybe you may have found out why, or maybe someone will help both of us with this? Thanks
