Fire corrupt error
 

Every time I try to download a song, it goes through the whole process then right after the 100% mark, it says "file corrupt" and thus the file is not downloaded. I don't know what the problem is. Please help!

i have been getting that all day, it might be easier just to pay for my music!

i am having the same problem... every single file i've tried to download since i installed the new version of limewire has done this... i installed about 2 days ago. any thoughts?

The RIAA are flooding file sharing networks with fake files to discourage people from downloading. Basically, you're trying to download a file that is just 4 minutes of silence. At least Limewire is nice and tells you (unlike Kazaa) Be patient though, keep trying different files, and eventually you'll end up with a real one. Fight the power etc etc

Check out this thread . After following the reccomendations, I now get very few corrupted files.
