Download Speed
 

I have Limewire 4.8.1. Pro, it says I am 'turbocharged' when I download, I am on broadband and getting 1-2Kb/s.... what's going on???:confused:

Any observations???
 

Are there any others experiencing this PAINFULLY slow d/l speed, it's slower than dial-up and almost a complete waste of time.....

does anyone have any suggestions?

I have trimmed the number down to 3 downloads and it still does not go above an aggregate speed of 4Kb/s.... and I have had close to a 100Kb/s in the past... has somebody flipped a switch? Has Gnutella gone t*ts up? What can be done...or does anyone have any alternatives?

I've also been having extremely slow DL's for the past week or so...

I'm on broadband (used to get between 50 and 60KB) now I only get 4KB maximum!

Whats going on??

I am using a broadband connection too, and my downloads are stuck at 0-1 KB/s everytime... pls help...

my downloads have also now gone down from 4Kb to between 0 - 1 its impossible to download anything now...

Could it be the java platform... cos' i reformatted my system and reinstalled java and limewire... it was working fine before i reformatted my computer...lol i did it to get rid of spyware and maximise downloads... but instead...:(

Possible Java Issue
 

Same with me.... it was working fine right up until Java updated itself with the Runtime Environment 5, update 2.... this also made the webcam website I visit very unstable too!!
