Type .mpg at the end of your search name.

Sounds like you're lacking codecs to play other types of videos. Get them from here: http://lists.gpick.com/pages/CoDecs.htm OR http://www.free-codecs.com/ OR http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html

You might be wise to also get a backup player like VLC which has built-in codecs & plays almost everything: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site)

hi LOTR

i have tried downloading codecs? off the websites you gave me, i downloaded xilisoft because that said that it decodes all the files i have downloaded. i am trying to install it but it keeps pausing.

can you maybe tell me what one you use?

if i cant get it to work, is there any way that i can get my searches to come up with mpg only?

cheers

kaz

Use 'Any Type' general type search & put .mpg at the end of the search; eg: my home video.mpg

I use a mac so I'm not so familiar with codec installation of windows. The instructions that come with them should explain how. Also chack out VLC.
