Sorry. I'm new at this, please help

Just need some advise. Sorry again if this has been answered somewhere else. I downloaded ***** and i want to know what to do after that to run/install it to my computer. Do i need to use another program to install it? any help would be very appreciated, feel free to PM/e-mail me. Thnx
