Is it possible to move the incomplete directory to a specific location?

My downloads folder is in d:\downloads\limewiredownloads
but my incomplete folder is d:\incomplete

How do i change it into \downloads\ or to anywhere I want?

Thankyou

That's odd because both my incomplete & downld folders are in the same directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\Lotr\ Shared & incomplete

To move your downld folder, go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Saving & press the Browse button & select your new location. Keep in mind the incomplete folder will or probably be in the same directory level. So, move all files from your old incomplete folder over to the new one.

You see, i have done that already, and still, my incomplete folder recides one level up from my download folder. Im so stuck..., but thankyou for the reply.

What I meant was they both reside within the same father directory. So both incomplete & shared folders are within folder Lotr.

Ah ... but on Windows, the Saved Folder actually represents the father directory. So that's why you'll find the newest downlds outside the Shared folder. These files are eventually moved to the Shared folder.

BTW if you become a forum member you'll know when people have replied to your posts.

Well Lotr, thats the problem, i have been trying to figure out this for a long time, and here is my situation:

Save Directory: D:\Download Temp
Incomplete: D:\

So what should I do?

The reason it is set up that way is because when you first installed LW you manually set it up that way. What operating system are you using and what exactly do you want to do.If you are trying to change where your file is located on your hard drive then you are going to have to move it manually.

All i want to do is move my incomplete directory from D:\ to d:\Download Temp where my saved files directory is. I run Windows XP Pro SP2

No the incomplete folder cannot be within the Shared or downld folder. It will be side by side but cannot be within.

D:\incomplete & Downld temp

ie: both folders are at the same level:
D:\ >incomplete
D:\ >Downld temp
