How to download "need more sources"

You can only download a file if the source is on line at the same time you are.
Limewire does not store files itself. LW only connects your a source or sources that have the file you want. If your last source goes offline during a download, LW will display You can only download a file if the source is on line at the same time you are.

Partial solution:
1. Share your files. The more you share the more you can get.
2. Right click on any file in your downloads list. then press"CTRL A" =(select all)
3. Then left click the selected list and chose "Force resume".
4. Repeat once every hour or so.

I don't particularly agree with your advice about flooding the network with resuming all your files once every hr or so. It's not good for the Gnutella network & for some people will cause them problems such as using up too much system resources & may even affect their connection (ie: lose connection.)

There's better & more responsible ways of continuing files such as listed here: To continue files downlding (click on link)

Greg Bildson of LW made such comments re: requeries HERE (click on link) LW has been deliberately staying away from requerying & dropped what requery options it had in earlier versions. LW has been working cooperatively with other Gnutella clients in order to provide a responsible & healthy network.
