![]() I recently downloaded the Windows XP Service Pack 2 and found that it reduced Limewire to speeds of 1-2kb, which is incredibly painful as I have a 2.2 mb connection. I uninstalled it and Limewire returned to normal, but my IT department recently upgraded me and now I'm back with the same problem. When Limewire is running I get really slow downloads and web pages are working at a snail's pace. If I close Limewire, the web returns to normal. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Can anyone suggest how I can fix it as it's driving me crazy? I've looked through all the threads and tried all the suggestions to increase download speeds, but this seems to be some kind of conflict with the latest version on Windows. Please help! |
