![]() Hi everybody. I've been using Limewire for several months, and have generally gotten along well with it. I recently moved from a place where I had nice, fast wireless internet connectivity to college where I now have a cable modem. Since moving here, I have downloaded v. 1.7, and that was without incident. Except now I can hardly download anything. I know that my own connection is slower now with the cable, but almost everything I've tried to download comes in around 0.7 KP/s. When I do have the patience to let it sit there and try to download, I usually end up with "Couldn't download" long before it is done. I can connect to hosts and perform searches just fine. I can upload pretty soundly. Here's the weird thing - maybe 1 in 25 things I attempt to download comes in at around 20 KB/s, so I know that it CAN happen. I guess my question is, does this sound like a problem with my own computer, or is this just network instability? Thank you in advance for any insights, Megan |
