Default Why is my Limewire so slow........

Hey yall. Jus picked up limewire pro because I wanted to help the cause and because it said I would have faster downloads. I am not seeing that though. I still transfer files at super slow speeds and it sucks. I have a cable connection that is pretty quick. And I have my settings set to only look for other strong connections. Any help out there?

See To continue files downlding (click on link) Try searching for other sources. Generally you should choose those with 3 or 4 stars & lots of sources under the # column from the search results.

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then something like a firewall is partially blocking LW.

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

So I did what you said and my result came out to be false, and I know I do not have a firewall. Do you think it might have to do iwth my router? If so, what would I have to do to change it?

You will need to tell us your brand & model of router. Whilst LW can utilise UPnP as many routers now use. Not all routers use UPnP, so manual port forwarding may be required. For those people who play internet games would be very familiar with this concept.
