Default How 2 upload????

Hi i'm new to this all and for a few days now i'v been downloading like mad. I realise that i have been very gready, Not giving back.( as i said i'm new to all this)I have figured out how to share some of my music and other stuff. The question i have is When i go to my libary and click on add folder to share (from the file menu) is that all i have to do, to make that file available? also with a program like spybot search and destroy Is that desplayed to others as 1 file or do i have to bundle all the small files of search and destroy into a single file. And filally can i shut down limewire when uploading?

Put files you wish to share into a folder. Then go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Sharing & press the add button & direct it to where your new folder is. Select it & press apply. You'll notice this new folder will now appear in the LW Library window. (Yes you can also do it from the LW Library window by going to menu File>Add folder to share.) Press the refresh button after you're finished & your files will be ready to upld. See uplds & hits columns to the right of the window to see each file's success.

As for how many you can upld at once. That depends on your upld bandwidth. If you have a fast upld bandwidth then you can allow many to be uplded at once. If you have a dial up connection then probably one file is sufficient.

To set the uplds, go to Tools>Options>Upld>Basic & set the number of upload slots & speed. Press apply after you've finished.

By the way, it helps if your firewall is properly configured so people can upld from you. Otherwise uplds will be rare.

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then you have a firewall issue.

Configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
