Poor download speeds...but something weird happened...
 

My limewire has been having problems dowloading for the past few months now... ever since i reformatted my computer it has stopped functioning like it used to... previously 30-50 Kb/s speeds were normal but now 0-2 Kb/s is more of the norm... I don't have any norton or winows firewall on, and i have tried both java 1.5 and java 1.4.2 but to no avail... I have done EVERYTHING possible that has been posted on this forum to improve my situation but none worked... And the weirdest thing was the other night, i suddenly had a download speed of 25-28 kb/s for like half an hour... then it went back to 0-2kb/s... wad was that... can sum1 pls help improve my situation....

It was commented on with friends that they noticed a substantial speed loss from late last week. So did I. We toyed with the notion that it could be connected to the London bombings but it was speculation.
I'm in britain by the way - may not have happened anywhere else.
