Constantly Needing More Sources Hi...I'm new to the forum, and have been having some problems. I've been using LimeWire for months now, and haven't had any real problems until yesterday. Suddenly, no matter what I try to download, it keeps telling me I need more sources. I have tried downloading files offered by multiple users, and still the same response. I keep clicking "Find Sources," and then it times out, and I have to keep trying to find more sources. This has been going on since about 10pm CST last night, and it is now almost 5pm CST. I'm getting very frustrated, and I'm hoping someone could give me some advice. Also, I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling LimeWire, and disconnecting from and reconnecting to LimeWire If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! ~BM |
Open LW & after perhaps 30 mins do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If that happened to me then I'd close & reopen LW. Else I'd use my direct connect links to get started. If you're sharing (having people upldling from you) then you will get better results. You could try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire This may refresh LW so to speak.
