jeff_t_420 is flying high
Angry cant play most movies

whenever i try to play a movie after downloading it.It always says "windows media player cannot play the file.The player might not support the file typre or might not support the codec that was used to compress this file' I am new to downloading movies what do i need to do?

it says that to me to. its not the file. I just play the AVI files in my AVI movie player

VLC is very good also. It's good to keep as a backup player at least. CODECs sound like what you need. Funny thing is the answer to your question was sitting in the sticky at the top of this section. That's why it was put there. lol
