CPU usage

DLed and installed latest limewire but as soon as i search for 1 item my cpu usage goes to 98-100% And obviously whole pc becomes very sluggish any one else have this prob ? or do i have something set wrong?... I reinstalled older ver and it runs fine

WELL HOW MUCH RAM U HAVE. CUZ I CAN RUN LW/MSN MNGR AND PLAY AN ONLINE GAME WITHOUT EXPERIANCING MUCH LAG OR SLUGGISHNES.

I have 1 gig ram on a asusA7n8x Mb with a 2500 barton OCed to over a 3200 IT AINT the PC I have other freinds who have same Prob
