Just downloaded LimeWire- everything queued Okay, I've seen a lot of people ask this question but the answers didn't help me at all. I downloaded limewire and opened it [for the FIRST time] and began to search for files. I found some music files and began to try to download them with my DSL connection. They all said Queued automatically, so I waited an hour and nothing happened. So I read the support boards and closed limewire and the next day tried it again, this time waiting 20 minutes until I started clicking anything on limewire. It still said queued. Then again, I searched a very popular song and tried to download that, knowing that there was no way a song this popular with 131 sources could not download. It still said Queued. I'm really getting annoyed about this and I was wondering why this was happening...so if anyone knows a solution it would be great. I have a windows XP, SBC Yahoo DSL and LimeWire basic for reference. |
QUEUED = LW is too busy to handle that file. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? Can you give us a total desciption of your set up: 1. So how many files did you downld at one time. 2. What firewalls you have? 3. How much ram? 4. Hard Disk space available? 5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) 6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? 7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)? 8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. 9. Who is your isp provider? 10. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. |

See this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...ghlight=queued Don't downld too many files at once. |
Hmm... I reinstalled limewire, and tried downloading a song and it worked...I don't know why but hey, it works! |
Here's how I fixed mine: Go to Tools>Options>Downloads>Maximum Downloads. Make sure it's not set to 0. As soon as I put a number in there, the downloads in queue all started to download. |
