1. I ran a connection speed test on my comp and it showed my download rate being 2.7 mbps but my upload rate less than 300kbps. Could this be why my downloads are slow?(Also what would that mean my connection is: I don't think its t3 but the test said it was higher than dsl/t1/modem)

2. I tried to dw a movie file and it was going about 30kbps but now it refuses to go anymore than 5kbps. Also, its odd: music files for me download 50 and up kbps but movie files usually never go higher than that.

I disabled my firewalls and that had no effect. any help would be greatly appreciated
