Downloads It appears as though there is a 10% cut off for downloads using Limewire. On average I think that is generous. I get fantastic start download rates then it just dies necver to be rsurected. 257.8 was my highest downlod speed, which quickly disappeared to 0 k/bs like every other connection. Is it possible that this program actually works? Has anyone on this forum actually downloaded a complete file? Doubt it. |

Yes, once in a while your downloads may drop to 0k kbps. If you want to fix this, disconnect from the int, or better yet, lock LW access to the internet with a firewall. Then, re-enable your internet connection or grant access through your firewall and you can force resume the file. This usually gets the downlaod going at a decent speed again. I know it's kind of a pain, but hopefully we can get a "pause download" feature so that we can re-establish a connection that has taken a turn for the worse. :-) |
