Angry nothing will download!!

i have windows xp and use dsl and i have read nothing's wrong with that but when i do a search i either double click, right click then select "download", and/or just select "download" and nothing happens the media won't download

it's happened with more then one media and i don't know what to do

and it's happened with both lw; the beta 4.9.4 and lw 4.8.1

i found this on some other thread that had the same issue, i didn't work for me but maybe it'll work for you

"For those of you who are having difficulty connecting do this: When LW is open, click Tools->Options & go to Bug report & click for an example. In the window that appears scroll down to the part that says: "Recieved incoming this session" (about half way down the report.) If it says ‘True’ then LW has no problem with firewalls, but if 'False' it does have a prob.

If you're using Mac OSX then go to LW's Prefs-Bug Report, & for OS9 that's Options-Bug Report.

If you have a firewall/router blocking your connection, you'll need to open a port. For the most common firewalls, instructions can be found at the bottom of the following page:

if that doesn't work look through here
