![]() When i get to about 10% of my movie download i like to preview it to make sure all is ok. However the movie is previewed with Windows Media Player and i always get the message that appropriate codecs not installed. I think i have all the codecs (obviously not!) but cant find any more to install. Can anyone tell me how to disable WMP and instead always use DivX player for the previews? Thanks |

![]() I had the same problem as my movies are in AVI format and for some reason WMP doesn't play these saying it doesn't have the right codecs. After searching on here I found a lot of people had the same problem. The only answer I found was to download the player VLC ( videolan ) which comes with all codecs all ready installed and plays with no problem. Try searching for it in these forums and you will find a link to download it. |
