limit download speed

Hi. I use this great program in a network. However i have this problem. Users install limewire but during downloads one user can suck all the internet speed making others having lag problems.
my question : Is there any way to limit the download speed to 30-35k for every user permanently?. Also users must be unable to change it and download at greater speeds. If there is a solution it would free my hands.

You realise don't you that you can limit your own upld/downld bandwidth. Go to Tools>Options>Upld or Downld & see the options for bandwidth control. If it's not enought then perhaps you set your speed incorrectly; see What speeds are T1/T3, etc. for LW

Thanks for the answear Lord. I know about it. The promlem is that i want to limit others speed and not allow them to increase it cause when i set it at 30K users change it and increse the speed ,lagging the whole network.
I want when every user install Limewire, the dafault speed be set at 30-35K and the user be unable to change it.

Any thoughts???

Users can not change or set what bandwith they get from you. It will vary up and down but the person receiving from you has no control over it. They can however set the amount of bandwith they can receive in total, But once again they can not control how much they receive from any single individual.
