when i am downloading videos, i can preview some, but others, i'll click preview and nothing will happen, what do i do

while downloading i can preview some of my videos, but sometimes nothing happens, what should i do

Get another player like VLC or get more codecs or both. See the Sticky at the top of this section. Just press the Go button below left & you'll see it.

You have several options for players but the best I found for previewing avi's has been avi preview. You can also use PealPlayer, Quick Time, or Media Player to name a few. After you have the player of your choice, use it to open your incomplete folder in LimeWire. Don't use Preview from LimeWire as it usually only works on MP3's.

Personally I find VLC previews fine from LW if it's an avi or mpg/mpeg file. But keeping in mind that with each preview created there's a corresponding preview file created within the incomplete folder.
