Only A Hobo is a great assister to others; your light through the dark tunnel

you can preview however much of a song you have downloaded. Click on preview and it will play by default through Limewire's player which is not very good. you can cancel the default setting in options/preferences, to use the application of your chooice to preview.
You cannot preview a song before starting download.
