"file Corrupted"
 

So many things I dowload are being corrupted at diffrent standpoints, note, most are audio files for iTunes. Anyways, its like it stops everything that has @#!$ in it, but of couse if I search blah song by blah and thebn add (clean version) it wont come up with anything good, Ive already checked and it doesnt hide "adult content". Whats the problem?!

Please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure that a corrupted file is one that contains the word %^*@ <G>

There seem to be various types of corruption as detected by Limewire. One type can be downoaded and will play, it may be "corrupted" because it has a second or two missing off the end. If I get this type of corupted file, and am pretty sure I cannot replace it, I "convert it to mp3" using iTunes(As you have iTunes you will undersand the strangeness of that remark) and it should be fine ...

I have no idea what other types of corruption there are, but as a lot of viruses appear to be getting through, I suspect that limewire does not necessarily pick up on Virus infected files being corupt.
