Problems Launching Limewire

Because the ****ing support form on the website is useless, I am reporting this here.

I am using a Macintosh Powerbook G4...whatever. Anyway, I downloaded the newest version of Limewire yesterday and it worked fine. But today, all of a sudden, when I try to launch the program, I get the message "The application Limewire has unexpectedly quit. The system and other applications have not been affected." This has happened with another program and I was told to delete a corrupted file from the Macintosh HD>Library>Preferences. Is there something similar to that that I must get rid of? This does not make any sense. Why would it work one day and not the next? Somebody please explain this (yeah, right, like anybody's actually gonna do their job and SUPPORT US).
