Hello,

Can someone please take me through step by step on how to revive my searchs and download speeds? I have been using Limewire for over a year now. About 3 weeks ago, my download speeds were averaging around 20kb/s. now they are a blister 1 or 2kb/s. My searches have also taken a hit. When used to search for a particular thing, I would get around 700+ results. Sometimes more than 1000. Now when I search for this same thing, I get less than 350...and that would be an excellent search. Most of the time its less than 200.

All searches are about 1/5 of what they were. My connection speed is usually Turbocharged and have little problem getting it turbo. I don't remember having this problem with Basic, but now i have Pro and have problems. I'm currently using the beta version as of about 2 hours ago and identical problems are occuring.

I have done searching on this issue and see lots of others have a similar problem. It sounds to me like a bug of some sort.
I have tried many thing found in the forums suggesting different tips to solve this but none seem to work.

I would like someone to help me step by step through this if possible. I have moderate computer skills and know what most people are talking about most of the times but some things I'm not the most savvy on so bear with me. If you need any information to help you help me, please let me know. I think a good answer to this question should be STICKY'd.
