Owner's LimeWire Tunes help I am sorry, but i have searched for different tips on the playlist in this forum, but i cannot find my answer. i have itunes, and limewire. for some reason, songs that i didnt download from limewire, like podcasts, have automatically gone to the file, "Owner's LimeWire Tunes". I even deleted some songs form my original library, but the songs are still available on the playlist. please help me, either, delete the "owners" playlist, tell me how to delete songs from it, or how to just delete itunes and reinstall it, with no library at all. thanks so much. it would be very appreciated, if you e-mail me *****, because i am way to confused right now to find your answers. thanks a lot----n Forum Rules (click here) |
Very easy, in fact there's 2 ways AFAIK. One within iTunes & the other way within LW. Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>iTunes>Sharing & untick all options on this page & press Apply button. (If you use mac then LW Prefs>iTunes>Sharing) You can also go to iTunes preferences >Sharing tab & untick all options on this page! If you don't listen to online music, etc. then select the Podcast playlist & hit the delete key. That's the normal way to get rid of playlists. I don't know anything about the Podcast. |
lord .. don't delete you podcast icon.. investigate it. It's the best thing since .. I don't know ... something or other! I subscribe to inside mac radio.... a 5min per day update on the world of Apple. ABC Night line news ..dare I say better than many bbc efforts. A hilarious and xrated affair called the Dawn and Drew Show, and From Our own correspondent from the BBC. as well as an excellent programme from CBC Canada playing new Canadian Rock music. Correctly set up the programmes will update automatically, and once I have heard them they will be deleted from iTunes. It is very cleverly thought out and there are hundreds and hundreds of programmes, privately made, or made by top broadcasters. Check out what there is through the iTunes music store. AS to Spydude, if you still have problems, I wonder what folder/folders you are actually sharing, as if you select iTunes as your download folder as I do, then that entire folder, including podcasts, will be shared by default unless you change it, which I have |
