my limewire works correctly, but any downloadsdon't work.

Not much on details! lol :rolleyes: :D

Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>View>Popups & tick the Revert to Default & press the apply button. See if that helps. If not then please supply more details. I don't understand much from what you've said.
