Thumbs down misrepresentation

I just recently purchased Limewire Pro. I used the free version for a while. I was getting slow connections. Had to leave my computer on overnight to get the music I wanted and then at times I didn't get the songs I wanted. So I figured I would purchase Limewire Pro as it claimed to be faster downloads. Okay here is where I run into problems. Limewire still does not connect right. I am still getting slower than ever downloads. Nothing has changed except maybe the look of the program once you download the Pro. I get more hosts but that does not make any difference in the speeds. Is this a misrepresentation of your product? I can't help but to think it is as Pro does not do what you said it would. Not knocking anyone here. I have a serious problem going on and want to know why I paid for something that does NOT deliver? Help please.

This is simply the gnutella forums which cater for several gnutella programs. This site is not a part of LimeWire.org! You should be directing your complaints to them.

Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If False then you have a firewall problem either with softw FW or a modem/router that uses a NAT firewall.

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider?
