Hey tish93 you are probably behind a NAT firewall in your router, I have the same symptoms when my router isn't configured properly. Check out the link below it may help you to configure your router.

Strange thing about Limewire, if I use Bearshare they jump on me right away, even when I have my firewall turned on but in Limewire, I hardly get any uploaders during the week. Keep in mind its still summer, once school starts, and vacations end, the network will be flooded with downloaders, then again, with all the RIAA lawsuits flying around, people might not be using P2P like they used too.
