i cant copy downloads to dvd can someone out there please explain

without more info it will hard to help u dont say what u have tried what type of file ur trying to burn ....or if u was able to burn but unable to play in ur dvd player ....what programs have u used to burn to dvd and to convert if there not in mpeg2 or vob files
