Burning Music to CD's After downloading the music, I'm had SO many problems burning to CD's. Not only do I have (and tried) RecordNow, but I also have ( and tried) Nero. And, I even went as far as trying Windows Media Player. Out of approx 100 songs, I guess I've burned 20. Is there a preference of speed (Modem, T1, Cable/DSL, etc) that works better? What about types (MP3, etc)? There's been too many error messages during the burning stage. I'm so new at this and need help. Thanks so much!!!! Deb |
I've heard of so many people having such a difficult time trying to burn CD's and to be quite honest, I don't know why they are having so many problems. I have RecordNow! and I have never had any problems burning CD's. If you have it, try Dell Jukebox. You might have better luck with it. As for connection speed I don't reallly know if that would affect the whole CD burning process. I have a DSL connection and it works fine for me. The file types that I've burnt onto a CD were MP3 and wma. I hope I've helped in any way.:) |
I think you can just go to your limewire library and look at the "path" column. That would be the path to get to your library and all of your media files. This is what I do: Right-click Start button (for Windows) go to Explore > Local Disc C: > Program Files > Limewire > Root. Then right-click music files and select "Burn CD in RealPlayer". This may work for you. I think it will. If not, maybe your path column reads differently. *Note* Sometimes certain media files in your library cannot be burned to a CD due to the format of the file with your media burning program. I can't get mine to burn videos but most music formats work fine. I hope this helps anyone confused with CD burning |
Thanks to the both of you. Really appreciate the advice. It appears that CD-RW are the only ones that work for me when I can burn the music. |
I just want to caution you about CD-RW. There is nothing bad about them but if you have an older CD player it will not read them. Take it from me. I learnt the hard way! |
