![]() I have a 608 MB file in my Incomplete folder, but when I open Limewire PRO, the download of that file starts at 0%. All of my other Incomplete files start at the correct points when I start Limewire. Why is this? Is there any way I can get this file to load correctly and continue the download so it accounts for what is already in the file? Any help would be great, it took a long time to download this file. Thank you. |

![]() I am having this same problem, but with over 40 incomplete files, mostly mp3, avi and mpg. in the library, these files show at the same size they show in finder/incomplete folder, but they show highlighted in red in library. in preferences, everything looks fine. i'm running lw 4.8.1 pro under osx 10.3.9 on a g4 1ghz machine w/ 756mb ram. (and the 10.3.9 java fix on apple's website has been performed, then machine retarted at least once after) plz help me - i was considering upgrading lw to current pro version, but now i'm not so sure... it took a really long time to get those files downloaded, and it looks like wasted time from my vantage point right now. indi |

![]() OK man... was a litle angry before... "When posting, please include details for: Your Operating System Your version of your Gnutella Client Your Internet connection (56K, Cable, DSL) The exact error message, if one pops up Any other relevant information that you think may help Try to make your post descriptive, specific, and clear so members can quickly and efficiently help you" I'm running win ME, Lime Wire 4.9.21 Java 1.5.03_03 I have a cable conection No error message The file it's an avi file. I found it on my hard in the "incomplete" directory and it's about 90% downloaded. I rebuild it's index... but for now I only can watch 90% of it ![]() ![]() ![]() And tere is more: I run scan disk on the partition where the file it is saved and I got an error saying that the windows may be reporting more free space on the partition than it really is... I've fix it... and now I have a 90% downloaded file with 5% progres in Lime wire. I thinc that one of the problems could be when the program alocates the space for the beeing downloaded files... Hope that my observation will help the programers team. Good luck to every one and try to use the "resume download" function as less as possible. From subject: Resuming downloads Sphinx Member Quote:

![]() My opinion is that: there are a few bugs in the "resume download" function... My advice is: try to keep your uncomplete files... may be the future versions of the LW will come with a solution for this bugs and then you will be able to complete your downloads... ![]() I had a problem like this. If you are downloading a large file, it takes a while for it to "verify contents." Make sure that the file is 100% verified before you click on the "Library" section, otherwise it will ***** up the download. Hope this helps! |
