integrating limewire and itunes Wow, I don't understand how to transfer my music from limewire to iTunes AT ALL. Can somebody please help me??? Thanks so much if you can. |
Please search the forum, it has been answered many times. If you disable LW built-in player, tunes launched from LW will open in you default music proggy like itunes. Ciao |
Ok, I tried launching them, but only a couple showed up in iTunes. Most of them just played the music in LW. What should I do? Thanks |
Disable LW player, restart LW. Remember that .wma won't play in iTunes. Ciao |
Nope, it still doesn't work. I exited limewire, and made sure all the files weren't .wma (they weren't, they were all either mp3's or wva's or m4a's). But something interesting I noticed was that the only ones that DO work are the .m4a ones. What does that mean? man I'm confused. Thanks a lot though |
It's probably because .mp3 aren't associated with itunes but LW. You'll have to locate an .mp3 file an set the application by default to be itunes. Are you on windows or mac? |
Windows (XP) |
See Setting Default video app but instead of applying it to video apply it to mp3 & iTunes. Besides, often if a particular audio program like iTunes is not the default then it will ask you when you open it whether you want it to be the default to open audio files. |
Um, I don't really understand how to use that because I have Windows XP and I'm not really sure what I was supposed to do. Do you think you could help me with it? That would be so awesome. |
Actually, don't worry about it. I found a way to open it with iTunes. I just found where all the music was saved and clicked "open with...iTunes" Sorry for taking up you're time. I really appreciate it. |
