Downloading Problems
 

Im new to Limewire and have been having problems with some of my downloads. Im on dial-up and are using Windows XP and find that sometimes when i havent used limewire for a bit my download gets reset(ie: percentage downloaded goes from 13% back to 0%)Is this a problem that occurs with many ppl?anyone know a way to fix it or retrieve the amount i had downloaded? thanks heaps.

Go to Tools>Options>Saving & change the Days to keep incomplete files to a large number like 999. Then press apply.

If further problems then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

my prob is a differet sort. I am new also I cannot download anything, all i get is need more sources??? I am on my work computer I think my conn is t1, wih windows xp. I have tried to reevert to defaults on the pop up, still doesnt work, i do not even get a popup, just need more sources. PLEASE HELP
