You got a virus... sorry...
Delete all 851.7 KB files and scan your computer with an antivirus

please read the forum. this is a well know virus, junk files. What are you trying to search for? that usually comes up if searching for software or movies. in the left side of LW you'll see the search box, if looking for music, highlight the audio and you shouldnt get the junk files with it. if you are searching with the search all types then you will get creamed with junk files. and if you dled this file then its in your computer system.

Microsoft software in Gnutella is pirated and not to be trusted. Gnutella Users have a habit of sticking in viruses with software. You better get a virus cleaner to cleanout your computer system right away. Java machine WONT be available on P2P. There is actually websites that do have Java machine for downloading on the web. and I strongly suggest in the future that you get your windows updates straight from Microsoft as they are always free.

I've got to be missing something here. I have this strange notion that there are a lot of computer viruses out there and that p2p is a bloody good place to accquire them.

People come on here every day and say they are trying to download things like java updates and even virus PROTECTION programmes from some totally unverified and quite possibly malicious sourse. If I want an apple or windows update I get it from apple or microsoft or sun or whatever.

Am I being totally stupid. I really must try and get them of the Gnutalla network in future if everybody else is doing it and they can't all be wrong PLEASE tell me what's the attraction!!!???

Oh yes and THINK before you download stuff 851.7 kb for a java update Does that seem like the right size for something like that!!???????????????

Maybe there should be a sticky notes about how to recognize a junk file or virus so new users will be aware of it?
