Angry cant d/l anything

i can search.... but when i double click a file, it wont send it to the download section.... even if i highlight a file, and click on the download button.... or even when i right click on a file and select download..

none of it works... why?

the newest one...

i was goin fine with the older version... ever since the upgrade, i cant d/l anymore.... but i dont wanna go back to the old...


version 4.9.28

and i got it from the link at the bottom banner on the livewire main

then it might be a firewall problem. XP firewall tends to block downloads. you might have to adjust your firewall settings. other than that, I am out of suggestions for ya. sorry it didnt work. Usually a clean install clears things up. You'll have to spend time reading this forums sticky notes for additional info.

the weird thing is.... i was just using the old version just fine, just 2 minutes before i installed the new one....

thanks for your help anyways.... if i cant get it, i'll just find the old version somewhere, lol

Did you try this? In LW go to Tools>Options>+Searching>Basic, then tick the show license warning, then click apply.
Then try to d/l something and when the warning box pops up tick always use this answer then click yes.

geez....

i tried that too... still wont work

its like a double click does nothing... same with when i click the download button, it doesnt even attempt to do anything... i really dont know...

and now i havent had any luck finding an older version of limewire
