Quality On the lower left where it says "Quality", sometimes it says 'Good' but I get a dialog box that says I am not connected yet when I click on File , I see I am connected & it's downloading. And then sometimes when the quality is good, nothing is happening. Another question: I deleted some songs from Library, thinking it would speed up other d/l, but I found the songs were also deleted from F:\My Music (shared file). Why is that? |
When you delete from the library this is from C:/YOUR COMPUTER!!. If you changed the default file from shared it will delete from that disk. The only difference is it doesn't go into the Recycle Bin. Give LimeWire a few minutes to settle down before using it. Quality is determined by the "star" count. Next factor is the number os sources and length. |
Yes, I did chand\ge the default disk to F, so that's where it's saved and shared from. But when I deleted some songs, where did they go? They't\re no where I can think of. |
That's right. When you delete from your LimeWire Library they are gone. The only way to recover them is to go to your incomplete folder and select them for download again. Items deleted from the LimeWire library are like paying taxes, You paid the money and poof it was gone. No recycle bin, but you do have a second chance. |
I did that already (went to incomplete folder). They're not there. I looked again and they're not there. I deleted about 60 songs...and in my incomplete folder there are only about a dozen songs there (nothing i'm really interested in). |
Sorry... look thru this thread... lost my files |
