limewire will not recognize my e-mail address
 

I had to re-format my hard drive and therefore lost my limewire. I go to re-intalll and the system does not recognise my e-mail address. This is the only address we have. We can not contact lime wire with the problem without a e-mail address they recognize... we have the charge on my visa for their download but we are locked out of reloading it or contacting them. Any idea how to contact limewire to get this taken care of ?

Check your email. If you still have the original email then it will have the link to your own personal downld page. But remember, updates are only valid for up to 6 months after you purchase pro.

Unfortunately I have removed the old e-mails... they went out with the trash when some nasty hijacker took contol of my computer. I purchased Limewire on April 4, 2005. Thx

this is useless! I paid by credit card for the full pro version and although they took my cash - they never gave me pro. They say my email is not recognised!! how the hell did they send me an email saying they have took my cash? Absolute rubbish. I will be seeking a refund (despite what the blurb says on the website) This is a total waste of money...if your thinking about purchasing it....don't. You will not get pro..and will spend days trying to contact these twats

All I know is that there has recently been an issue with the LW Pro page (as informed to me by a member of the LW staff.) If your patience will bear it, your situation will be sorted out.
