alright, i had an older version of limewire and on that version i downloaded songs and files that had the realplayer icon next to them, i now upgraded and only the windows media player shows up now, i am asking for any help on how to change this, any information would be helpful, thank you.

Every windows audio program tries to be the default for any audio file. See Setting Default video app but instead apply it to your audio files & real player.
