Downloading files shared.
 

I have downloaded 4.9.28 and I cannot download from the files that I am given to share from. I do connect to other hosts for file sharing. I cannot download when I click the download button.

I have the latest Java software which has javaw.exe and the javaws.exe loaded into my ezTrust Zone Lab firewall. I have also tried turning off the firewall. I have been using Limewire without issue until I downloaded the 4.9.28 version. I have also redownloaded this new version twice.

It might be a firewall problem. Firewalls block downloads. Also the new version might have a few bug issues, from what I've been hearing. read the forums for additional help.

Thank you for your reply. I did shutdown my firewall in an attempt to isolate the problem. I will try again.

I do notice that since I have downloaded the new version of Limewire that my firewall is blocking a lot of attempts into my computer I believe to share files.
